WNBL Round 6 Ford Players of the Round and Opals teammates, Steph Talbot and Isobel Borlase will go head-to-head again on Sunday in Bendigo.
The Lightning will be hoping to make their round 5 loss a distant memory, Tayla Brazel shared following that game in Adelaide, “I honestly think it’s good we are playing Bendigo pretty soon, after this game, you know things will stay fresh in our mind of what we need to do and what we need to improve on”.
Adelaide will be buoyed by not only Captain Talbot's more aggressive style of play that saw them snare the OT win over Geelong but the addition of injury replacement player Erin Bollmann who posted five points with three rebounds, two assists and two steals in her debut against Townsville on Tuesday night.

The Spirit return to Bendigo following their Friday night game in Sydney and last weekend’s visit to regional Gippsland where they hosted the Perth Lynx at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium in Traralgon. The Significant Sporting Events Program, in partnership with the Victorian Government aims to grow basketball participation, celebrate diversity and inclusion, and strengthen community connections while showcasing regional Victoria as a premier destination for sport and tourism.
